KOFLEC TO HOLD RAINWATER HARVESTING TRAINING

2nd-7th Feb 2025 AT URDT

KOFLEC has under the ESFROMA II program received funding from Organic Denmark for promoting low-cost Rainwater Harvesting Technologies (RIWAH) among smallholder farmers within their Farmer Family Learning Groups (FFLGs). The outcomes of the project are two-fold:

Outcome 1. Context specific low-cost WHTs innovated by 400 smallholder farmer families organized in 20 farmer groups in 5 district

Outcome 2: Low-cost WHTs for smallholder farmers are integrated in local adaptation plans in 5 district.

The proposed training of staff and master facilitators contributes to realization of Output 1.1. “2 staff members, 2 master facilitators and 10 external facilitators have capacity to successfully contribute to identifying and implementing context specific low-cost WHT in 5 district”

KOFLEC is to hold a training on Rainwater Harvesting Technologies. The participants are the KOFLEC Partners URDT, GLOFA, UWAMWIMA, TOAM and GLOFA under the auspice and funding of Organic Denmark (OD). The practical training will be last five days with. The training will take place under the partnership principles consisting of 12 staff and 10 master Facilitators (MF).
