Thaddeo Tibasima

Role: CEO

Thaddeo oversees the development of KOFLEC as a knowledge hub on the organic Farmer Family Learning Group approach. He contributed to the cocreation of the Organic FFLG approach from its birth in 2009.

Thaddeo holds a PhD from the University of Natural resources and Life science, an MSc in agroecology from Uganda Martyrs University and a BSc in Agriculture and land use management from Makerere University. His main passion is towards thriving farming systems and dignified farmer livelihoods.

Razia Mbambu

Role: Administration and Accounting

Razia holds a business diploma in procurement and logistics management and is currently pursuing a Bachelor in Business administration majoring in accounting at Bugema University.

Razia has worked with multiple organizations for the past 12 year. Razia is passionate for effective and efficient administrative and financial accounting systems.

Mbusa Mwirima James

Role: Resource Mobilization Officer

James has a graduate of Agriculture (Crop Science) and also hold a Master of Arts in Social Sector Planning and Management. For more than 20 years, James worked as a managing consultant and also led several CSOs as Executive Director and Board Chairperson.

James’ passion is in cultivating sustainable relations with resource partners, transforming communities, conserving the environment, and undertaking research and innovations in agriculture, and development sciences. He is also passionate about raising resources and applying them towards social and economic causes to improve the livelihoods of vulnerable persons.

Mumbere Mbabazi Peter

Role: Project coordinator

Peter has a diploma in Agricultural engineering, and a Post Graduate certificate of Project Planning and Management of Makerere University before joining KOFLEC in August 2024. At KOFLEC, Peter versees knowledge sharing and training as a major role in the coordination of the RIWAH Project implementation, innovation and climate resilient water initiatives to spur the increased organic Agriculture (OA) products in Uganda and Tanzania with enhanced organic Environment.

Peter’s passion focuses on sustainable, cost effective water management technologies to enhance resilience of smallholder farmers to climate change.
